The religious town of Mathura is 228 kms away from Amroha. The town is the birth place of Lord Krishna and is considered one of the holy cities by the Hindus. There are many temples dedicated to Lord Krishna here. The most important is the one which is revered as his birth place. The prison where he was born still remains within the temple complex.

The area is known as the Braj Bhumi and comprises of two tracts lying on each side of the Yamuna River. On the eastern side is Gokul, Mahavan, Baldeo and Bajna while on the western borders lie Vrindavan, Govardhan, Kusum Sarovar, Barsana and Nandgaon. All these destinations can be reached from Mathura. Haridwar

The pristine Hill Station Nainital is just 164 kms from Amroha. It can be reached in three hours and few minutes drive. The important attraction of Nainital is the Naini Lake.
